Czechoslovakian Book Covers [1960s]

Not your father's typical book cover collection, but Czechoslovakian Book Covers from the 1960s, ranging from bold, eccentric, clean, grungy, textured, and abstract, these are some unique pieces that combine enough flare and classic design elements to inspire someone that's seen it all.  Really attractive color schemes, unusual shapes, and some fine type work make these a one of a kind set.

1950s Czechoslovakian Hotel Matchbox Labels

Not going to lie, I'm a sucker for these vintage matchbox labels.  Even at being around 60+ years old, you can still learn from the guys who designed these.  Playful typography, proportional borders, bold designs, and simple & attractive color schemes.  Especially love the serif ones and the flower spiral pedal designs.

35 Czechoslovak Matchbox Labels of Prehistoric Animals

Thought these would make a good post after going through Oliver Tomas's amazing archive of classic graphics.  Really liking the heavy shadings and consistent colorways throughout the set.  It just seems like a super cool idea for matchbox labels, and even though I'm not a smoker, if these were sitting out on the table for free at a diner I would grab some and start smoking like its 322 million years ago.
