SOCMUS is a virtual museum of Bulagraian socialist era graphic design from 1944-1989 that focuses on the artistic value of the works and not on their historic or political context--or in other words aesthetics over idea.  

Experiential Modernism from Mihail Mihaylov

 

Mihail Mihaylov is a Bulgarian born graphic designer freelancer currently residing in Rotterdam, Netherlands.  As apparent in his work, he is experiential in style, and influenced by modernism.  He creates some really interesting visuals with his use of shapes and colorways, and has some admirable type usage.  Check out more of his work on his Flickr.
