Sci-Fi Abstraction Art from Dan McPharlin

We've been waiting a good long time to do a post on the graphically-dashing Dan McPharlin.  Here are some select pieces from his sci-fi and abstract album art, in addition to some of his other artwork.  He really knows how to combine both complex texturing and visuals with a minimalist approach.  I find it very easy to get lost in his work--almost easier than it was in college to space out at the grid-lining of the ceiling boards in the middle of lecture.

Strangely enough, he is also a craftsman when it comes to analog miniature synthesizers.
An interview with him on his hobby here.  Check it out--

His house is also pretty amazing, is it not?
