Picked out some flags from Japan's 47 prefectures, which are defined as subnational jursdictions or governmental bodies that are larger than cities, towns or villages on making up the county. I guess you could relate them to 'counties as we call them here in the states--but either way, Japan always has a way in creating interesting visuals for almost anything. Can't say the same for Los Angeles county's flag.

The People's Pennant - Felt Flags by Your Favorite Designers
These are pretty much the coolest pennants (or at least the most awesome-designed ones) I've ever laid my eyes on. And sure, like many of our readers, I've had a few felt flags years ago from amusement parks and circuses. But these pennants take this to a whole different level -- hand-screenprinted gorgeous designs by the likes of Richard Perez aka Skinny Ships, Mikey Burton, Heads of State and Ken Barber. And they do a new one every month with a different designer. Pick one up from the site, as they are each printed in limited editions.
