Ken Kelly is a long-time fantasy artist from New London, Connecticut who established a design niche in exotic sword and sorcery and heroic fantasy subgenres.  He's done design work for Conan the Barbarian, KISS, and Tarzan.  Very epic work from a seriously epic artist.  

Apparently his set of original 7 Micronauts paintings closed for sale on Ebay for $750,000.  $750,000.

Massachusetts & Connecticut Police Patches

Thought these would make for a different but interesting post.  Usually when we see cops we see their face inside of a Crown Victoria, or we see them in the media on tv, the news, and not so flattering photos of them standing up to protesters.  That said, some of these patches aren't half bad.  The shield shape combined with bold type and solid government emblem work evoke a strong feeling of  uniform power somehow, with my favorites being the ones with the diagonal "police" slashes.
