As a bit of a Redditor and a huge Batman: The Animated Series fan, this post stuck up some great bundles of nostalgia packed away in my carefree middle school candy hording days.
The cartoon series took influence from Tim Burton's Batman early Batman films, having Eric Radomski and Bruce Timm take the look and feel of Batman: The Animated Series in an Art Deco Neo-Noir direction implementing light colors on black paper (as opposed to the industry standard of dark colors on white paper), which the producers of the series dubbed the combination of Art Deco and noir imagery as "Dark Deco".
Big credit to a9froggercooi for posting all of these.
