Some unusually enjoyable visuals from Japanese graphic designer Koichi Sato. He has been actively involved in the graphic design community in Japan, notably with the Japanese Graphic Designers Association (JGDA), the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), and as a professor at the Tama University of Art.
Sato's work expresses a surrealist vision with some great use of abstract shapes & shadings, traditional Japanese calligraphy, and some humanistic aspects. He's been featured in the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition eight times, which by the way has some more excellent work that I highly recommend you check out.
