Rafael Tufiño, the "Painter of the People," is a famous Puerto Rican painter who was born in Brooklyn, but is also famous for his amazing poster prints. If any of this is reminscent of old WPA posters, it's because Rafael Tufiño designed his most popular posters during the 1950's for government-sponsored literacy and hygiene campaigns. Check out
