Millions of us probably have been exposed to some of the illustrations and artwork of Stockholm-based Jonas Torvestig, particularly from his album art for "Gimme Some" by Peter Bjorn and John. Jonas Torvestig is adept at executing traditional graphic and typographic works, but he is also a talented illustrator who can pick fun colors and convey original and interesting ideas in a very simple, clear and appealing manner. Check out photos from the Gimme Some Exhibition in Los Angeles as well as our friend's interview with Peter Bjorn and John on Evil Monito.

Surrealistic Design by Kilian Eng
Just came across the fine works of Kilian Eng while doing my morning rounds of music blog checks. Kilian Eng is a graphic designer based in Stockholm, Sweden with some real talent for producing futuristic and peculiar visuals. He's definitely got an old school vibe with his pieces making use of attractive colorways and grainy compositions.

Inked Posters Erik Jonsson
Erik Jonsson is a Swedish graphic designer now working in Brooklyn, New York. What caught my eye with his portfolio was that in some of his works he has a very organic ink feel, like almost as if he took a paintbrush and dabbed his computer monitor with paint...somehow penetrating the screen through osmosis. Who am I kidding, I don't remember jack from AP Bio in my highschool years. Either way, he combines colors and graphic shades really well.
