RSOW -- Homework

Homework is a design studio based in Poland run by Jerzy Skakun and Joanna Górska that does design work for cultural events, with much of their work recognized internationally.  Whatever reason they decided in coming up with the name "Homework" I completely agree with.

Sleek Design by Vitaly Sacred

Some selected work from Vitaly Sacred based in Novosibirsk, Russia.  He uses some pretty clean shapes and text layout in combination with warm color schemes and textures.  I was, however, unable to find any other name for him other than his said moniker.

Six Architects by Andrea Gallo

Italian graphic designer Andrea Gallo created this set of posters depicting 6 great architects through minimalist styling in black and white.

Ludwig Mies can der Rohe was another modern German architect, with S.R Crown Hall of the Illinois Institute of Technology in Illinois, Chicago being his best work. 

Bauhaus school founder and then modern German architect Walter Gropius invented this style of door handle, notably named the Gropius door handle.

Avar Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer who went on to start the Finnish furniture company Artek, along with creating this chair he called the "Paimio Chair" that comes with hefty price of $3,950 for any of you designers out there that appreciate chairs.

Posters & Illustrations by Dave Whitley (Mississippi)

I came across Dave Whitley's gorgeous Lady Gaga poster (a collaboration with Kate Thomas aka Little Things Studio)_ after checking out the HOW Magazine poster contest winners, judged by a friend of the blog, Ty Mattson.  Dave Whitley is a recent art school grad with a few notable features under his belt, including collaborations with  definitely thinks and designs with beautiful custom typography and loves assembling together vibrant color palettes.
