Music Goodness: Fourtet and Onra

French/Vietnamese artist Onra makes hip hop from the future. I'm sure of this. His entire discog isn't up on Spotify, but the spectrum of influences I heard while going through the what's available is impressive. Everything from lushed out Ed Bangerish electro to vietnamese oldies are used to soundscape his beats.

There were tons of good vibes going off at this year's FYF Fest in LA and seeing Four Tet was nothing short of magic. This is one of my favorite remixes of his :

Here are some really clean hip hop club flyers designed by London-based Robert Anderson.  Couldn't dig up too much on this talented designer other than his Behance page.

Theophilus London

What do Gucci, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Ronson, and Bushmills Whiskey all have in common? Aside from beings things you could spot at a Hollywood coke party, they've all contributed to Theophilus London blowing up. This Charming Mixtape is recommended listening.

OFWGKTA - Hip Hop From Adolescent Hell

If A Tribe Called Quest grew up drinking Four Loko, they might sound like Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. Thankfully, these guys managed to avoid getting the "hip-hop-is-dead" memo 'cause they've released eleven albums in the last two years. The leader of the collective, Tyler (@fucktyler), does a heavy amount of production, beat making, and lyrical swagging. After huffing teen spirit in LA, NYC, and London, they made it into this year's Coachella line up.
