RSOW -- Karl Tagle

Karl Tagle is a serious starving illustrator based in Australia keen in screen-printing, posters, and combining his skills in a variety of mixed mediums (including watercolour, ink and acrylic paint) to come out with some kick-ass designs.  He submitted to us a while ago so we should all pitch in to help feed him and save him from starvation--design starvation.

Ludwig Hohlwein (1874-1949) was a commercial German poster artist with an architectural background who had an affinity for watercolors, tempera painting, and poster prints.   He creates some really rich compositions & shadings and had produced over 3,000 advertisements ranging from pre-World War II posters to American advertisements for Camel and Fatima Cigarettes.

Elaborate Watercoloring by Fredrik Söderberg

Fredrik Söderberg is an artist from Stockholm, Sweden who can get really expressive through elaborate watercolor paintings.  He draws much of his inspiration for his work from meditation and religious experiences, and claims that he likes for his work to be esoteric in its interpretation to the viewer.  I for one am going to have to agree that his paintings evoke surreal perspectives in a way that draws you in the more you look at it.
