These might not have much appeal to everyone, but growing up to this show during the 90s was unquestionably one of the most creative and mind-wrenching things to watch as a teenager with no internet. Racy would definitely be one way to describe Rocko's Modern Life (likewise for Ren & Stimpy), and with adult themes and dark humor, it was really an eye-opener in my teen years. The illustration work and animation style of the cartoon is described as a "wonky bent feel" and a "reality that is 'squashed and stretched' into a twisted version of real life". Each episode title card was in fact an original painting.
