Reader S.O.W -- Ivan Petrusevski

Ivan Petrushevski is the man.  Why? Because while having already been on our blog, he's sent us an update on his work so that we can remember why we put his work up.  Based in Macedonia, Ivan is a graphic designer with unique style and uses fun emoticon-like faces.  Love seeing VAL being used in designs as well. Check out our older post on him here.

Remember to send us whatcha got at Flyergoodness@gmail.com!

Impossible Symmetry by Estudio Minga

Studio Minga is a creative laboratory based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Their set "Impossible Symmetry" caught my attention with some really great abstractness and shapes. Had a fun time interpreting all the WTF posters as well.

Geometric Poster Art by Metric72

Here's some amazing art from Spain by a designer who goes by Metric72 and doesn't have much more information freely available.  Dang, that's some talent though.

1950s Czechoslovakian Hotel Matchbox Labels

Not going to lie, I'm a sucker for these vintage matchbox labels.  Even at being around 60+ years old, you can still learn from the guys who designed these.  Playful typography, proportional borders, bold designs, and simple & attractive color schemes.  Especially love the serif ones and the flower spiral pedal designs.
