Flyers & Posters by Los Angeles Designer Matthew Müller

I've seen some cool flyer designs around Los Angeles for Dublab events, and I finally tracked down the talent behind the art.  Matthew Müller is a fellow Los Angeles native responsible for the design awesomeness around these parts, and also has some cool typographic work and quirky illustrations in his portfolio as well.

The Biopölitan Project by Mark Brooks

The Biopölitan Project

King Pigeon Yoga Posters

Swaan + Christos USA Tour Promo Posters

Mark Brooks has put out some new series of posters, all of which I like, particularly his Biopölitan Project.  I really find it cool how the deer has a digital feel, with the eagle having a paintbrush effect, and the frog an ink blot effect.  The red circle in the middle in the image series seems odd, but somehow works with the pieces.  And the yoga posters have a very zen-esque look.

Check out or original post on his Star Grid Posters here.

Monday Music Goodness

Don't listen to this song unless you want catchy guitar hooks jangling in your head for the rest of the day. The video is worth a look if you're up for a fun colorful psychedelic collage stacked with jet skiing giraffes, lightning bolts, and lots of tripped out randomness.

The mashup/indie/hiphop world has gotten outta control in the last few years. Seems like everyone with a mic and a hardon for Pitchfork's best new tracks section wants to wild out with Pro Tools. G-Eazy's new mixtape is a welcome addition to a genre that needs more finesse. Hope ya'll dig the flows and production on this joint.

I was lucky enough to hear the Trackademicks rework of this track on the radio and really dug the lushed out downtempo beats. Everything Little Dragon touches is sex, but this remix takes it up a notch.

Flyer Designs and TV Show Posters by Matt Needle

It was a little while ago when we first featured Matt Needle as our Reader Submission of the Week, and now we've checked up on his Flickr to see some fantastic new designs.  It's really great to see his style and art skills develop.  His posters are available for purchase online at his bigcartel.
