These vintage-inspired soccer poster designs and illustrations are created by the hand of probably one of the most artistic football fans in the world, Zoran Lucić. Working out of Bosnia, Zoran has incredible familiarity with the palettes, hues, emblems and typography of graphic design from the 20s-70s. Whether it be clean gridded swiss typography or grungy script lettering, he's able to pull off these designs cleanly and true to the era he recaptures in this series.

Olympics 2012 Posters Proposal by Alan Clarke
Alan Clarke is a former University College Falmouth design student from the UK, and as good as these posters he designed for the upcoming olympics are, it was decided that these were to not be the chosen posters and that everything we know to be fair and just is a lie. But really, he did a really great job in capturing the "movement and energy of the games in a simple yet abstract way".

Olympics 1968 Mexico Identity Design from Lance Wyman
![]() |
Some really fantastic design work from New York native and designer Lance Wyman for the 1968 Olympics. The 60s Op-Art Kinetic Typography Mexico 1968 logotype gained influence from traditional Mexican culture, and set the tone for the rest of the supporting visuals for the Olympics that year. The sports iconography is cleverly clean along with the dynamic range of colorways used by Wyman.
Not to leave out his Obama poster --
