All of these logos speak for themselves. We know them as powerful symbols for the companies that we have identified with over the years as brands deemed important and polished--a perception molded by both brand equity and visual stimulation. The foundation of the visual side of companies evoked by a simple logo can have a huge impact on how people connect with a given brand, where in the event with this set of logos created by the New York based graphic design/branding firm Chermayeff & Geismar (founded by Yale grads Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismer), graphic design is expressed in a refined form at the highest echelon of corporate design.

Classic Design by Walter Ballmer
Walter Ballmer was a Swiss born graphic designer famous for his work for the department of development and advertising for the Italian computer manufacturer Olivetti in the 1950s where he designed the logo as well as posters, equipment, and promotional campaigns for them.
