Vintage Disney Tomorrowland Posters

Came across these 1960s-1970s futuristic posters for Disneyland's theme park rides and thought they deserved some worthy attention.  Always interesting to see what was considered modern from another time period.  Really liking the vivid colors and typework.

Vintage Indian Book Covers

Really unique set here of Indian book cover designs from the 1960s-1980s.  The Indian characters in some of these add a dated and hieroglyph-like feel with the odd but artistically pleasant illustration.

Taken from 50Watts (aka Will Schoefield), curator of the graphic design gold mine website formerly known as A Journey Around My Skull.  Definitely check out his archives for a huge assortment of design works--won't disappoint.

NSFW: Club Flyer Goodness: Dr. Who (LA)

While potentially NSFW, this is a pretty cool DJ flyer for a club night in Los Angeles.  The font, layout and colors are very well done to a 70's style movie poster.

Black Panther Propaganda

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, thought we'd do a post on Civil Rights Movement Posters highlighting posters from the revolutionary Black Panther party from the 70s.  Here are some pretty interesting newspaper covers from the organization,  mixing photography with some simple graphics to create some rather bold visuals.
