80s Omni Sci-Fi Mag Scans

Designer and illustrator Eric Carl has a tremendously awesome Flickr set holding some real 80s sci-fi magazine gems from Omni Magazine that I thought were post-worthy. Really liking the abstractness of the illustration and Omni logo.

You might have seen a bit of Mark Weaver's work circulating around the online design and art spheres lately, and for many good reasons: his work breathes undeniable talent, his prints are sold out, a lot of his designs look good on a wall, he designs a lot (see his "Make Something Cool Everyday" project) and he's done illustrations for some big name magazines.  While it looks like his own online store is out for the moment, you can find his Moby Dick inspired print available here at Society6 and also check out a lot more of his work on his Flickr.
